33 Students test positive for Covid-19 in a primary school in Murang’a.

A private grade school in Murang’a was closed on Thursday indefinitely after 33 students were tested by Covid-19.
Infected students at Blessed Small Angels Academy, a day school and boarding school on the Murang’a and Kirinyaga border, have been excluded from treatment.
Following the school outbreak, Murang’a County Health Director General Joseph Mbai urged residents to be vigilant and adhere to the Covid-19 protocols issued by the Department of Health.
“Fewer children are infected with the coronary artery virus than adults and getting to the point where they are now positively tested means the virus is dangerous in the region.
“Since children are the main propagandists, we must be very concerned,” he said.
