48-year old woman swallows heroin to avoid arrest.

According to Citizen TV’s reporter, this happened after an investigation report released in 2019. Reports showed that acts of a drugs so as to transport them had increased in coastal region. The region has becoming refuge for drugs believed to come from Pakistan.

Traffic police has been strictly conducting inspection on good on transit especially via road to ensure no illegal drug pass them.

A Kenyan woman aged 43 who had flown from Ethiopia was arrested at Bangok’s airport 2019. The woman attempted to smuggle 60 packets of Cocaine. This was known through a stomach x-ray examination was carried out.

While yesterday the same case re-happened. Pauline, a 48-years old woman was arrested for swallowing heroin with intention of transporting them.

The suspected drug trafficker was rushed to Moi Referral hospital in Voi for medication.

According to the police detective, Pauline swallowed the suspected heroin so as to avoid police arrest and probably deliver at airport.
