RAHWAY, New Jersey (WPVI) – Amber warning of a 2-year-old boy disappearing from New Jersey has been canceled after police said the boy had been found.
Pennsylvania State Police said on Twitter Saturday morning that Sebastian Rios has been found.
No further details were provided, including the fate of Sebastian’s mother Yasemin Uyar, 24, whom police were also searching for.
Sebastian and Yasemin were last seen in Rahway on Thursday and were allegedly abducted by the child’s father, Tyler Rios, 27, of Highland Park.
Police set up an area that had a residential area near the house where the young man was living with his mother on Westfield Road.
Rahway detectives entered the house Friday night and said it was a working area.
Yasemin’s sister, Marissa Uyar, revealed that Tyler and Yasemin are not together and their only relationship is to share a baby boy. He says Tyler has a history of domestic violence and recently became homeless.
Police are trying to trace Sebastian Rios, 2, and his mother, Yasemin Uyar, 24. They were all last seen on Rahway early Friday. Witness Witnesses interviewed Uyar’s sister, Marissa.
Marissa also said Tyler entered Yasemin’s home recently and police were called. Tyler had assured the agents that he lived there.
Marissa added that Yasemin was planning to leave Rahway for security reasons.
“She was very busy carrying her bags and trying to organize herself together,” Marissa said.
Marissa says she just wants to know that her sister and nephew are safe and that she has a message for Tyler Rios.
“Dude, I just want to at least let my nephew go.” I mean I want my sister back home, but, I mean, something has to come out, you know? “he said.
