Archbishop Muheria reveals reason why Kalonzo wasn’t allowed to speak at Kibaki’s burial

The Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Nyeri, Anthony Muheria, has revealed that the family of the late President Mwai Kibaki did not want political speeches during a funeral held at Nyayo Stadium.

Speaking to Citizen TV on Monday, May 2, Archbishop Muheria noted that due to the wishes of the family, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was not given the opportunity to speak despite being vice president Kibaki.
