The incidents will spread to 14 different parts of the Saudi capital.
One of them will be the Riyadh Season Cup, where the Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr players’ team will face European champions Paris Saint-Germain, along with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Wenger will replace hosts if Saudi Arabia host PSG for the first time in the third week of 2022.
Saudi Royal Court Turkish Adviser Alsheikh confirmed Wenger’s role on Twitter on Sunday.
He tweeted: “International general manager Arsène Wenger has been hired to lead Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr stars against Paris Saint-Germain in the cup.”
Wenger is currently FIFA’s chief development officer after leaving Arsenal in 2018.
The Frenchman has won three English Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, leading Arsenal to an unbeaten league season in 2003/04 while at the club.
