Bolivia vs Argentina.

Lionel Messi scored twice as Argentina beat Bolivia 4-1 on Monday to prepare for the Copa America quarter-final stage against Ecuador.

Alejandro Gomez provided a fine pass from Messi five minutes before the Barcelona striker, who surpassed Javier Mascherano as Argentina’s best international player, doubled his lead from the penalty spot after 32 minutes.

Lionel Messi scored twice in Argentina’s victory.
Messi scored 3-0 shortly before half-time with a clever twist and while Erwin Saavedra scored a consolation goal for Bolivia in an hour, Lautaro Martinez’s substitute returned the three-goal lead from Argentina five minutes later.

The result means Argentina will face Ecuador in the final eight on Saturday when Uruguay, who beat Paraguay 1-0, face Colombia the same day.

Host Brazil will face Chile in Rio de Janeiro on Friday and Paraguay will face Peru, also on Friday.
