Change of Mind: Kalonzo to go through interview for Raila’s running mate .

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka now says his party has submitted its representation to an advisory committee interviewing candidates for the co-candidate of the Union One Kenya Kenya Coalition.

Speaking in Taita Taveta County on Friday, May 6, the former vice president said Shakila Abdalla – the party’s secretary general – had submitted his nomination papers to a panel headed by Noah Wekesa on Thursday, May 5.

He said he maintained respect for the panel, adding that it was made up of experienced political leaders.

“It is true that my secretary general submitted my request to the jury yesterday. I thank Gédéon Moi for supporting my cause, ”said Wiper party leader.

Earlier, Kalonzo had insisted he would not appear before the panel, saying it would be disrespectful to him.
