SuperModel shares how her cosmetic surgery backfired on her leaving her deformed.

Model Linda Evangelista said she was “absolutely devastated” because of the negative impact on the fat reduction process.

The 56-year-old revealed that she experienced a rare cosmetic effect from treatment five years ago, which actually increased her fat cells.

“I remained, as the media reported, ‘recognizable’,” she told his 900,000 Instagram followers.

The evangelist explained that this was why she had disappeared from public view.

The Canadian model went on to say that she had “two painful, unsuccessful surgeries” after a narrow procedure – also known as body contouring – had a different effect.

“For my members who wondered why I was not working when my colleagues’ work was flourishing, the reason was that I was brutally weakened by … [a process] that did the opposite of what” she promised, “explained the Evangelist.

She said the side effect she felt “not only ruined my livelihood, it led me into a cycle of deep depression, deep depression, and self-loathing. With that process, I became disillusioned.”

In her social media post, the star said she wanted to tell her story publicly to move on with her life, and suggested she pursue a business that she felt was responsible.

“I’m tired of living this way,” she continued. “I have always wanted to go out with all my confidence but I can’t coz it’s hard to love myself”

The non-surgical procedure, which has grown in popularity in recent years, uses cold heat to reduce fat deposits in certain areas of the body.

Describing the “very rare but serious side effects” she had experienced, Evangelista said this “means the fat cells in the treatment area are growing larger than smaller,” adding: “It is unknown why this is happening.”

Evangelist rose to prominence in the 1990’s as part of a group of emerging fashionistas, adorning the world’s high streets and appearing on the cover of Vogue’s leading fashion magazine.

She also appeared in George Michael’s music video with Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, and Christy Turlington.

The model has set a low profile in recent years, rarely posting her new photos on social media.

In the few photos she has published, her face is often covered with a cloth or a hat.
