The 24-year-old is alleged to have been stabbed twice in the neck by a stranger.
The woman in question recently moved to Siongiroi province from Sotik.
He fled after witnessing the incident.
A fourth-grade student was stabbed to death following a fight against a woman at a bar in Siongiroi area of Chepachama, Bomet County.

The 24-year-old is alleged to have been stabbed twice in the neck by a stranger after an argument over a woman who is said to be new to the area.
“The cuts are deep, which shows that he was stabbed with a sharp knife, blood was spilled everywhere, even a few drops were traced to Siongiroi health center where he was thrown by a Good Samaritan” the head of the Siongiroi website Joseph Ngeno said.
The woman, who is said to have recently moved from Sotik to Siongiroi province, fled after witnessing the incident.
The deceased has been identified as a day school at Capsinendet High School in Chephungu sub-county.
Officers from Chebunyo Police Station are currently holding a male suspect who is assisting with the investigation.
Chephengo Sub-County Police Chief Nelson Masai said he had sent more officers to the stadium to investigate further.
The body of the deceased was transferred to the mortuary of Longisa County Referral Hospital.
