Good news to NHIF Beneficiaries.

NHIF has announced a new way of payment of claims to electronic . Everyone is required to biometrically register i.e from 7yrs old and above inorder to access hospital services.

Initially , NHIF beneficiaries were required to produce their ID inorder to access any services but that will no longer be w= the case anymore.

Upon reaching a hospital of your choice you will be registered biometrically before accessing hospital services.

You can also visit any NHIF offices for the same biometric services. Incase your child is 6years and below he/she does not need the biometric. He/ she will benefit under you.

These biometric will enable the hospitals make e-claim, identify fraud, wastage and abuse.
