Governor Alfred Mutua ditches Azimio joins Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza alliance
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua withdrew from the Union One Kenya Declaration coalition and joined Kenya First, a coalition led by Vice President William Ruto.
Mutua says he took the decision after the Declaration failed to announce a coalition agreement signed by the affiliates, despite his threat to file a lawsuit.

Since last week, Mutua has been complaining about what he calls “distrust” by the coalition of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Declaration with his presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
“Yes, it is true, we are joining Kenya First and I will hold a press conference this (Monday) morning,” Mutua told Capital FM News by telephone.
The news of Mutua joining Kenya First was first announced by Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula on Twitter.
