Hilton shuts down it’s operations in Kenya after 53years,fires employees
Hilton closes its operations in Kenya after more than a century. It is reported to be leaving Kenyan markets in December after 53 years.
The Hilton Hotel, which is approximately 40% state-owned, signaled other things than the catastrophic closure of its operations in the main business district.
A spokesman for the hotel told the media that the Hilton hotel would be closed for the last time on December 31, 2022. He also added that the hotel was not directly involved in the disaster despite the challenges facing 2020 and 2021.

The spokesman also said that a few lucky employees would be sent to his other office in Nairobi. It includes Hilton Nairobi Hurlingham and Hilton Garden Inn Airport Nairobi.
A report in the daily newspaper reported that the government has struggled over the past decade to give up its three luxury properties, including Hilton.
