How to check 2022 KCSE exam results

The Ministry of Education has officially released the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2022 results.

Education Minister Ezekiel Machogu announced the results at an event held at the headquarters of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) on Dennis Pritt Road in Nairobi on Friday, January 20, 2023.

A total of 884,263 candidates took the KCSE 2022 exam. Among them, 405,962 were men while 420,845 were women.

The National Examinations Council (Executive Director) of Kenya, David Njengere, said the correction of the examinations started on December 28, 2022 and ended on January 18, 2023.

During that period, KNEC engaged the services of 30,000 examiners in 35 correctional centers.

How to Check KCSE Result 2022 via SMS
Open the blank SMS on the SIM card you are using
Enter your full 11-digit KCSE number followed by the word KCSE, for example 50167345023KCSE. Do not leave a space in the index number and the word KCSE.
Send to KNEC SMS number 20076
You will receive an SMS from KNEC with your results shortly. SMS will cost Ksh 25 for each message sent.
