I was body shamed by Aisha Jumwa while Ruto watched and said nothing;Wangui Ngirici reveals.

Kirinyaga MP Wangui Ngirici says she will not return to William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party due to harassment by the camp.

A defender who turned out to be a critic of Ruto accused Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa of insulting her while she was in the UDA, further criticizing the DP for her involvement amid allegations of abuse.

“I was humiliated and body shamed by people like Aisha Jumwa but Ruto did not say a word,” Ngirici said, quoted by The Standard on Sunday.

This, according to the Kirinyaga gubernatorial candidate, is why she cannot return to the UDA even though they have given him a direct ticket to the seat.

“For this reason, I will never return to UDA even though I have been given a direct ticket,” he said.

She also claims that some leaders are tired of the tyranny of the party and will soon disintegrate.

“From the northeast to Mount Kenya, I am in contact with officials who have informed me that they are waiting for the right time to leave the party,” Ngirici said.

When Governor Anne Waiguru moved to UDA in October, Ngirici began expressing her concern about the camp and announced that she was taking time to attend public meetings to reflect on and strategize for her next home.

She denied, however, that her problems in the UDA were attributed to the Kirinyaga governor, but to the “abusers”.

“My problems are not due to the fact that Waiguru joined UDA, but to threats within the party,” Ngirici said at the time.

She claimed that some people whose names were not known from the TangaTanga team abused her online and even dragged her husband into politics.

“At one point, I was insulted in the WhatsApp group TangaTanga where Ruto is. My husband was also dragged into it and named but he was not in the group to defend himself, ”Ngirici said.
