IEBC suspends Rongai MP elections
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has suspended Parliamentary races for Rongai Constituency in Nakuru County after a misunderstanding in the voting form papers.
Nakuru County IEBC administrator Joseph Mele on Tuesday morning affirmed the suspension.
At the Mercy Njeri Primary school surveying station, there were missing voting booths and papers for the MP seat.
Youth rampaged to fight the suspension, blockading streets and consuming tires.

Occupant Rongai MP Raymond Moi censured the Wafula Chebukati-drove constituent commission for the faux pas, naming it an exhibit of “inadequacy” and ineptness for the decisions.
“The competitors who were competing to be individuals from parliament for Rongai were not on the polling form papers… This is astonishing and amazing in light of the fact that on many events, Chebukati has guaranteed Kenyans that he is prepared to run these decisions however that doesn’t appear to be the situation. I’m extremely bewildered,” he said.
Mr. Moi was one of the three competitors in the Rongai parliamentary challenge.
“Assuming they plan the decisions for one more day, the turnout will be low and will won’t be on a similar battleground… that will influence the result,” he added.
