James Orengo blames Uhuru for not appointing the 6 judges, says it’s unjustified

Siaya Lead representative James Orengo has censured President Uhuru Kenyatta over his inability to name six adjudicators that were designated in 2019 by the Legal Assistance Commission.

In an explanation soon after the appointed authorities were confirmed Wednesday, the senior direction said there was no support for the previous president’s disappointment in making the arrangement.

“There was no defense by any means to baffle the arrangement of the appointed authorities of the Court of Allure, the absolute best legal minds. Credit to Muchelule , Korir, Ngugi, Makori and Omange,” Orengo said.

President William Ruto made the arrangement of the adjudicators his most memorable task on Tuesday not long after he made vow of office.

The new President gazetted the arrangement of the appointed authorities on Tuesday and directed their swearing-in on Wednesday at State House, Nairobi.

Judges Weldon Korir, George Odunga, Aggrey Muchelule and Joel Ngugi made the vow of office as re-appraising appointed authorities while Evans Makori and Judith Orange were confirmed as judges of the Climate Court.

The occasion was seen by previous Boss Equity David Maraga.

“What’s more, Maraga was there to observe everything. A free legal executive is vital,” Orengo said.
