List of Kenyan Maize flour banned from the market by KEBS.

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has announced a red flag against 14 brands of maize flour and described them as unfit for human consumption.

In a statement issued on Sunday, October 31, the regulator urged retailers across the country to remove powder stamps from the shelves.

Among the most memorable are the Ndovu Maize flour, Prestige sieved corn, Range corn and Sima Tamu.

Others are Top white, Winnies Ugali Health, Bel’s organic, Diamond sifted corn and Family.

Also in the same group are Asiri millet, Ema filtered maize, Ibe maize flour, Odari and Mugambo filtered maize flour.
