Man captured in a viral video drinking Jägermeister in 2minutes dies

A man who was caught in a now-popular video drinking a whole jug of Jagermeister in less than two minutes has kicked the bucket.

The one who has been affirmed to be South African was purportedly partaking in a hard-core boozing contest.

Police in Waterval, Limpopo, on Wednesday said they had sent off a test into the passing of the unidentified man who is accepted to be matured somewhere in the range of 25 and 30.
In the video, the man is seen swallowing down a whole jug of Jägermeister in under two minutes as individuals applaud and support him.

He, notwithstanding, before long fell and was raced to clinic where he was articulated dead.

Limpopo police representative Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said the episode occurred at a neighborhood alcohol outlet where supporters partook in a drinking rivalry, in a bid to win R200 (about Ksh.1,400).

“The victor who could consume the whole jug of Jägermeister inside a predefined time, would get R200 cash,” Mr. Mojapelo was cited by nearby media as saying.

“One of them promptly fell from there on and was taken to the nearby center, where he was affirmed dead.”

Jägermeister is a German digestif drink that has a liquor volume of 35%.
