Man’s boy found hanging in the toilet.

The body of a man was found this morning in the toilet of a rented house in Mwamba market in Lugari sub-county.

The deceased, identified as Nelson Mumela Kamalishi, 34, was an employee of Forestall, a preaching college of the Salvation Army Church in Mwamba.

Neighbors who discovered the body say he was left alone in a rented house near his work station in Mwamba market.

According to Mwamba small town mayor Edwin Nashirobe, Mumela is suspected of committing suicide because the body was found hanging from a toilet.

Nashirobe, however, said a police investigation would reveal whether the deceased had hanged himself or was killed and his body hanged to distort the evidence.

“Because the deceased was left alone in a rented house, it is not known if he ended his life or someone killed him,” Chief Nashirobe said.

He urged neighbors, friends and residents to voluntarily provide more information that could help police identify the true cause of death.

Nashirobe said he would also talk to Forestall leadership, preachers of the Salvation Army, to help police find out what killed Mumela.

The body was transferred from Turbo Police Station to the Refugee mortuary in neighboring Uasin Gishu County.
