Maina was attacked on July 2 after failing to get a Sh100 bribe allegedly made by officers because he only had Sh20.

Nairobi salesman Anthony Maina, whose teeth had been extracted by an unknown name from the town of Askaris, underwent major surgery and his teeth were replaced.

Maina was attacked on July 2 after failing to get a Sh100 bribe allegedly made by officers because he only had Sh20.

He lost five teeth and broke his jaw after being hit with a metal rod while being handcuffed by city inspection officers.

The name was operated free of charge by Kenyan Orthodontics.

Kenyan Orthodontist Dr Kennedy Carson Opiyo said Mr Maina was on the verge of recovery after a successful operation to repair a broken jaw and teeth.

Dr Opiyo said the surgery removed severe bone fractures and fractures from Mr Maina’s broken jaw. He said the heavy impact on the lower jaw had broken it by two points.

“X-rays showed the boy had a broken jaw, loose teeth and a sharp pain.

The two broken parts were back and forth, which meant that the lower jaw was hanging “,

We decided to help so we did it for free. Maina is recovering right now and deserves a re-examination after two weeks, ”Opiyo said.

Maina recently received Sh 427,200 as compensation for the abuse she received from a city council inquirer.

According to the agreement, compensation for the loss and damage of five teeth is 300,000 Shs – 60,000 Shs per tooth – while Sh 56,000 was for a broken jaw.

Agents will pay Sh 4,000 for shipping and transportation costs, Shs 37,800 for food, Shs 15,000 for two months of rental and Shs 14,400 for clinic visits.
