Martha Karua takes solace in Classic music
On Tuesday, the Narc Kenya party pioneers posted the ensemble of Labi Siffre’s renowned hit from 1987 on her Twitter handle.
From the melody’s tune, Ms Karua had all the earmarks of being passing a message that regardless of the major political misfortune she has endured, she stays certain and prepared to push ahead into what’s to come.
After the seat of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Wafula Chebukati pronounced Dr Ruto the duly elected president on August 15, Ms Karua and Azimio la Umoja official up-and-comer Mr Raila Odinga moved to the Supreme Court to challenge the result of the political decision.

However, on Monday, a seven-judge Supreme Court seat, drove by Justice Martha Koome, consistently excused the request and maintained Dr Ruto’s political decision triumph.
Following the decision, Ms Karua said she had acknowledged the judgment however much she couldn’t help contradicting it. Through a Twitter post, Ms Karua said the Supreme Court decision is conclusive.
“The court has spoken. I regard however can’t help contradicting the discoveries,” she said.
Simultaneously, Ms Karua said thanks to every one of the pioneers and allies of the alliance who were consistent with them during the mission.
“We are as yet standing. We will go on with the battle,” she Karua.
