More confusion as police order for a fresh autopsy on Sanko late son

Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) have ordered a new autopsy of MP David Sankok, Memusi Sankok, to determine the exact cause of his death.

This is after a preliminary post-mortem examination conducted on Tuesday May 3 at Longisa Hospital in Bomet revealed that Memusi’s death was caused by a bullet that went into his chin and out of his head.

Media reports say investigators investigating the case now want further professional investigations from a state pathologist to determine if the 15-year-old died by suicide or if anyone else was involved.

The decision, according to the funeral committee, forced the Sankok family to postpone the funeral, which was scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, to a later date.

“As a committee, we have decided that the funeral scheduled for Tuesday will be reviewed, so we will provide full information on the funeral date on Monday, May 9,” Narok East MP Ken Aramat told the media.

Detectives had already visited Sankok’s home for the second time due to inconsistencies in family information about the baby’s death.
