Wetang’ula chaired a parliamentary group meeting at party headquarters on Tuesday (January 25) where politicians made resolutions.
According to party secretary general Chris Wamalwa, one of the resolutions was about the August 9 general election and whether the party would field a presidential candidate or not.
Speaking to the media, the Kiminini MP hinted that Wetang’ula had resigned from the presidency and would now work with Ruto’s UDA party and other like-minded politicians.
“Today we had a meeting of the Ford Kenya Parliamentary Group. We passed resolutions that Ford Kenya will work with the ANC, UDA and other like-minded parties. This is a partnership that will go to the White House,” he said.
