Mp David Sankok Son shoot himself dead

Tragedy has hit the home of MP David Sankok after his son was shot dead at his father’s home in Narok on Monday.

He allegedly used his father’s gun to carry out the incident.

Police and family said Memusi Sankok was a fourth-year student at Maseno High School.

DCI investigators attended the scene to gather scientific evidence to launch an investigation. The body was later removed from the house.

“The father was not at home when the boy committed suicide and it is unknown how he will find a gun that should be properly protected,” a senior official familiar with the case said.

“He was 15 years old. He committed suicide in his father’s house. We do not know what his motives are,” another official said.

Family sources said the son and father had differences over his academic performance.

Police said they were investigating the source of the incident.
