‘My Martha’; Is Gachagua mother Martha?
A moment of laughter as Rigathi Gachagua while responding to his Azimio counterpart referred to her as “my Martha” in an apparent slip of the tongue, during the deputy presidential debate that happened yesterday. The debate took place at the Catholic University of East Africa CUEA.
He however redeemed himself by claiming that his late mother was named Martha.
“Since “my Martha” joined the government, she has been consumed by the same lies…my late mother is actually Martha Kiring’o,” said Rigathi amid laughter from the audience.
Gachagua personal life
Rigathi Gachagua is a Kenyan legislator and the ongoing individual from parliament for Mathira Constituency.He is likewise the running mate for Kenya Kwanza official competitor William Ruto for Kenya’s official decisions set for August 2022.
He was brought into the world in 1965 in Hiriga town of Mathira Constituency, Nyeri County, being the eighth conceived kid to Nashashon Gachagua Reriani and Martha Kirigo.
His folks were Mau political dissidents in Mt.Kenya timberland where Nashashon Gachagua Reriani was building and adjusting firearms for the political dissidents.
He enlisted at Kabiruini Primary School from 1971 to 1977 preceding procedure to Kianyaga High School for his O-levels and A-levels. In 1985, he joined University of Nairobi where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree; Political Science and Literature in 1988.
At the college of Nairobi,Gachagua was the Nyeri District University Students Association (Ndusa) pioneer as well as the director of The Association of Literature Students.
He is hitched to Dorcas Wanjiku Rigathi, who is a minister situated in Mathira.
