Nanny kills 7-year old child and injures her employer.

A murder suspect who was fleeing after killing a 7-year-old child and injuring his mother has been arrested.

Lydiah Kipng’etich attacked her employer’s family on September 24 in Marigat Sub-County in Baringo before fleeing.

DCI Director George Kinoti said Monday that Kipng’etich 24 was armed with a machete and a machete during the attack.

On a horrible night, Kinoti said that Kipng’etich had entered her employer’s bedroom, violently attacking her in her sleep.

The woman was attacked in the arms, head and neck.

“With the man of the house (prison warden) at work, the killer had found a good time to beat up her family,” Kinoti said.

“It was during the preparation of the woman for the hospital that the neighbors came across the boy’s body hidden under the bed.”

Kinoti said the boy was bleeding from his mouth, without physical injuries.

She was arrested hours later in collaboration with a detective at a cat and mouse operation in Kongasis.

She was escorted to the Marigat police station awaiting trial outside the Kabarnet court tomorrow.
