Panic as Fire breaks out at Moi girls Eldoret school

Students at Moi Girls Eldoret School were horrified after a laboratory building caught fire Thursday night.
No one was injured during the crash.

Two physics laboratories located on the top floor of a two-storey building were demolished, along with chemical stores. Part of the Home Science Laboratory also caught fire.

The lower part of the building that houses the chemical laboratories was not affected.

The source of the 11pm fire was unknown, as school officials could not be reached for comment.

Frightened parents in and around Eldoret rushed to school to confirm the safety of their children after receiving information about the fire.

The Uasin Gishu Fire Department managed to extinguish the blaze, although nothing was found and completely burnt.
