President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mother of the Nation Margaret Kenyatta hosted a Christmas party for the children of White House staff on Sunday, December 19.

Also invited to the State House, the Nairobi banquet were children from various children’s homes.

The all-day event witnessed children engaging in fun activities including live music, mansions, face painting, and video games, among others.

Uhuru wished the children a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when they wake up to celebrate the holidays.

He also called on the country to continue complying with Covid-19 protocols to control the spread of the epidemic.

In November 2021, the president gave White House officials another chance to celebrate their success as the Second State Department for excellence.

The event was also held to bid farewell to 41 White House employees who were retiring from public service.

“The White House is the place where the president lives, I think you have made the country proud. If the place where Mr. he lives is doing well, you are confident that he will be able to fulfill his role,” said the Cabinet Secretary. Ministry of Public Service, gender Margaret Kobia said.

“Retirement is another phase and another mental state. If you say you are tired of the old man it will happen, but if you say it is another opportunity you will surely succeed in life, if you continue in the continuation of your passion and skills you have gained over the years,” he added.
