Police chase away Ruto-allied MPs planning to hold a presser.
Members of parliament allied to the deputy president William Ruto today had a rough time with the police after they were dispersed at time they were planning to hold a presser.
The group had scheduled a presser at a hotel in Lavington but that could not happen as police kicked them out forcing them to address the press the outside the facility.
The group had intended to address the latest loan awarded to Kenya by the International Monetary Fund.
According to the Nation media, the group was also set to talk about the ongoing curfew where hundreds of Kenyans have been arrested while others left suffering due to hunger brought about by the imposed lockdown.
