Mary Wanyonyi, the spouse of IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has requested that Kenyans petition God for her significant other and family as the August 9 surveys move close.
During the entombment of her mom on Saturday, Mary shared that her better half’s part in the impending surveys is vital for the entire family. Since he is in charge of the surveys body.
“As we approach the races, petition God for us as a family. I realize my significant other needs to keep the law. Some of the time we see him on TV more than we do at home, in light of this work. Now that I see him here, I say thanks to him a great deal for getting time to set his work to the side to grieve with us,” She said.
“In the other political race (2017) our kids were exceptionally miserable. Be that as it may, the present moment they are vigorous, even him (Chebukati). Each day we appeal to God for him, requesting that God give him shrewdness to serve this country,” she added.
Mary’s request follows a worry by Chebukati that IEBC staff are being profiled and confronting every kind of allegations.
During a joint Media interview last week, the commission’s seat said the profiling has caused dread among its authorities. All the more thus, those in the ICT office.
“It is very miserable that as of now we have individuals who are hellbent on attempting to profile IEBC staff for purposes that we don’t have any idea. I think sad and it is an issue individuals who are behind it ought to stop,” he said.
