Princess Diana marks her 60th birthday as her sons unveils her statue.

In life, Princess Diana broke the structure of what it meant to be a modern king, a legacy that still lives 24 years after her death. Thursday would be Princess Diana’s 60th birthday. To commemorate the occasion, his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry have gathered to unveil the statue in his honor outside Kensington Palace, but the focus is on the relationship of the troubled leaders.

Following the decision of Harry and his wife Meghan to step down from royalty last year and then publicly criticize the royal family in an open interview with Oprah Winfrey – Growing feud between Harry and his brother, Prince William has been revealed.

“It’s love against duty. It’s William defending the kingdom and Harry defending his wife,” Robert Lacey, author of “Brotherhood War” said.

Diana’s deep commitment to humanitarian work was enhanced not only by her excellent presence but also by her ability to communicate. When she died at the age of 36, the sad outburst of the “Daughter of the People” was no different from anything the royal had ever seen before.

The pictures of her two young sons, then only 12 and 15, were heartbreaking for every step they took in the back of their mother’s coffin. It would be another funeral, for their grandfather Prince Phillip in April, who reunited for the first time since their differences surfaced – shoulder to shoulder, but apparently still do not understand each other.

As William, Harry and the world reflect on Princess Diana’s 60th birthday, her legacy not only survives, but continues to form a royal family.

“The motives and intentions of the boys, William and Harry, obscure the fact that the unveiling of the statue to Diana, the rebel king 20 or 30 years ago, is a very important event. It is a recognition of the changing style. Of the British Empire that this radiance of Diana, this natural touch, this love, flirting with the media, is now common to the royal family, “said Lacey.
