Qualifications you must have to be Moses Kuria’s running mate

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, who is running for the Kiambu County Governor’s seat on Wednesday, March 9, called for the nomination of a running mate, announcing the qualifications that a candidate must meet.

In a full-page advertisement in one of the country’s major daily newspapers, Kuria noted that her running mate should be a woman with unparalleled academic and professional qualifications.

In particular, the candidate must have a master’s degree from a recognized university. The recruitment of a vice-governor candidate is done by a consulting firm.

“In order to implement this plan, Kuria is looking for a strong, self-motivated and aspiring professional to take up the post of Deputy Governor. Candidates must have a master’s degree,” the statement said.

To fulfill his 15-year experience as a professional in the banking industry, Kuria wants a mentor who fits his qualifications, adding that proven professional experience of more than 10 years is a must.

“Interested candidates should have a proven track record in a leading, complex organization with at least 10 years of experience, five of them at the highest level of management.”

The Gatundu South MP also noted that the post is only for Kiambu County residents.

Applicants were invited to submit their intentional comments in writing within 10 days.
