ODM leader Raila Odinga will announce his decision on running for president later this month.
Speaking yesterday in Nyando, Kisumu County and Luanda in Vihiga, Odinga made it clear that his decision to protest would be decided by the results of the ongoing voter registration which ends this month, even if he condemns the low level of participation in his support centers. .

While expressing his intention to take on Vice President William Ruto, Mr Odinga said a low entry rate could push him out of the race.

“All of you need to get your shield and spear so that I can have strong orders against our opponents,” said the ODM leader, who urged his supporters to prepare for the August 9 general election by obtaining national IDs and registering as voters in large numbers. .

“In order to face my opponents with high siege, I need to have a strong army behind me,” he told Nyando.

He echoed the same sentiments in Luanda later in the afternoon, where he said he intended to release his presidential statement at the end of the month after seeing voter registration increase at his polling stations. Help.

“I said I would make my decision to run for president at the end of the month. But my supporters have to line up with voter cards. I will announce after seeing how the people are registered ”, announced Mr Odinga in Luanda where he was accompanied by a crowd of officials.
