Raila threatens to boycott elections

Azimio official applicant Raila Odinga on Wednesday, July 6, took steps to blacklist the August 9, General political decision if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) doesn’t utilize the manual register.

Talking during a mission drive in Githunguri, Kiambu County, Raila expressed that the IEBC should embrace both manual and electronic elector registers and in the event that they don’t, there would no political race on August 9.

He demanded that the two registers should be open because of supposed endeavors to undermine the impending political race.

We are telling the IEBC they should have a manual register alongside the biometric ID of electors on that day; inability to which, there will be no political decision,” the previous Prime Minister expressed.

Raila further griped of a supposed plot by his rivals to take 2,000,000 votes in a very much determined plan roping in Inform Lycos – the organization entrusted with printing polling form papers.
