Raila unveils his cabinet.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has appointed Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to his cabinet if they win the August 9 election.

Speaking at the Kenya International Conference Center (KICC) on Monday, May 16, the presidential candidate announced that Musyoka would take over the post of cabinet secretary general and give him the responsibility to coordinate key government responsibilities.

He also named several other leaders who will work under Musyoka, including Kenneth Marende who will be the Senate President and Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya who will hold the Cabinet Secretary in the National Treasury.

Peter Munya has been appointed to replace CS Agriculture and will also serve as President of the Kenya Production Sector, with Ali Hassan Joho as Minister of Lands.

Joho was appointed “to address the historic land disputes in the coastal area”.
