Ruto almost slapped me : CS Wamalwa claims

Protection Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa guaranteed on Saturday night, July 9, that Deputy President Wiliiam Ruto nearly slapped him in 2018.

The CS expressed that the episode happened when he drove a designation of pioneers from Western Kenya to State House, while holding the devolution agenda.

Wamalwa who talked during an Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party rally at Bukhungu Grounds in Kakamega, asserted that Ruto didn’t believe the gathering should happen on the grounds that he was not educated.

” Ruto was angry and requested my acquiescence. He believed me should clarify why I had taken pioneers for meet President Uhuru Kenyatta without his authorization” the CS said.

The disclosures came scarcely days after a spilled sound bite of the Deputy President conceding that he almost slapped the President in 2017 after the invalidation of political race results by the Supreme Court.
