Second wife obtains orders to stop burial of Kisii county official.

The funeral of Kisii County Service Council chairman Evans Mamboleo, scheduled for today, was adjourned after his second wife, Ednah Kwamboka, obtained a court order.

Senior Magistrate Stephen Onjoro confirmed the case was urgent and issued a temporary restraining order preventing Mamboleo’s first wife, Aernest Mwango, from acting on his own behalf or through relatives, removing Mamboleo’s body from the mortuary.

“The case is set for the hearing of the participants between July 29. Anyone who obeys the orders will be found guilty of contempt of court,” Onjoro said.

Mwango was also barred from burying the body of her husband, who died on July 13, awaiting trial by the prosecution.

Kwamboka had told the court that Mwango had refused to recognize her and allowed her to take part in her husband’s funeral arrangements, adding that if there was no interference, the deceased would not have a good time. This name.

Kwamboka said that she was the mother of Mamboleo’s eldest child and that, according to culture and traditions, she was required to participate in her father’s last rites.
