Senator Samson Cherargei arrested

Senator Nandi Samson Cherargei was arrested.

The senator, who logged on to his social media accounts, claimed he was taken Thursday morning April 21 and taken to Nairobi for questioning. The reason for his arrest has not yet been made public.

This comes as Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Mutura was arrested by DCI officials on Wednesday, April 20, on suspicion of theft.
