Six burnt to death after matatu collides with a car in Yatta Kwa Majini

Six individuals have passed on after a 14-seater matatu impacted head-on with a cantina vehicle and burst into blazes at Kwa Majini region in Yatta Sub-County, Machakos County.

The mishap happened at 9am on Friday, July 15 on the Thika-Garissa Highway.

The public assistance vehicle (PSV) was going towards Nairobi from Matuu, while the cantina vehicle was going towards Garissa bearing.

Every one of the six individuals, who passed on, were on board the matatu, which burst into flames after the accident.

Their bodies have been taken to Matuu Level Four Hospital funeral home.

Police express examinations concerning the mishap have started.
