Socialite Shay Diva Africa, arrested on clams of stealing tycoon’s car.

The 30-year-old is accused of obtaining a TIM / NTSA account from PJ’s wealthy Dodhia Kumar and transferring car ownership without following the rules of inheritance.
Police in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County, have arrested a local socialist musician accused of stealing a Toyota Prado v8 from a dead Asian rich man who is believed to have been his girlfriend.
Sheila Wairimu, aka Shay Diva Africa, was arrested on Friday evening. The 30-year-old is accused of obtaining a TIM / NTSA account from PJ’s wealthy Dodhia Kumar and transferring car ownership without following the rules of inheritance.
The man died in April at the age of 61. His family filed a complaint with the police after discovering that Ms Wairimu had taken the car, claiming that he had given it to her only as “use and return” as they were a couple.
“After the car owner died, she replaced the owners within four days. The deceased’s wife authorized one of the family members to report any property of the deceased, “said Francis Kihara, DCI’s Trans Nzoia official.
NTSA records
According to a file of the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), the suspect transferred the book by logging into the TIMs account at 11:45 pm on April 26, four days after the man’s death.
The transfer permit was issued at 2 a.m. the next day but there were no supporting documents from the owner.
Police followed Ms Wairimu to Kitengela, where she lives, and pulled cars from her compound to the Buruburu police station.
The vehicle was towed to Kitale Police Station. It was when she tried to take it from there that she was arrested.
“At first she tried to get the lawyers to stop us, but she could not. She came on Friday to try to take the car but we stopped him instead, “Mr Kihara told the Nation.
Appearance
In her defense, the musician said the car was transferred to her without her knowledge and that she discovered it when she got his NTSA account.
She said he had never tried to transfer car ownership illegally.
Police said Ms Wairimu would remain at Kitale Police Station until Monday, when she would be arraigned in court.
She will be charged with theft, obtaining property under false fraud and trespassing on the property of a deceased person.
