On Thursday morning, thousands of mourners gathered at his church, Synagogue, United Nations (SCOAN) in the Ikotun area of ​​Lagos for the final funeral rites.

The late television writer was revered by people all over the world, and tens of thousands of people attended his weekly services.

The remains of his body, dressed in white, arrived at the local church in Ikotun in Lagos state at about 11 a.m.

The church, family members and supporters of the late founder of The SCOAN held an all-night protest from Monday evening to Tuesday morning.

On Thursday, a car carrying his body stopped on a lovely “mountain”, a small hill in the Agodo region of Lagos where he spent special days in prayer.

Known as the “Prophet” and his followers, he ran the Christian TV station Emmanuel TV and often visited Africa, America, Britain and Latin America.

Mr. Joshua came out of poverty and was raised by his Muslim uncle after the death of his Christian father.

His funeral ends several activities a month after his death.

The 25-year-old preacher’s wife, Evelyn Joshua, is expected to replace the head of The SCOAN.

The mourning of her husband, Evelyn – a senior pastor at the church – said she fled her faith after the death of a father of three.
