According to a post by the standard digital, it is very clear that in the first financial year addition of Constitution will cost the country close to 19.5 billion.

Yesterday Irungu Kang’ata in a statement he said the burden will be very heavy for the people of Kenya because the country will be still battling the pandemic.

According to Kang’ata the kshs 20Billion will help to feed each primary school kid in Kenya. He added that it will also boost the nutrition and also the attendance of pupils.

Some of the leaders like Wycliffe Oparanya had asked the government to abandon the BBI process first and use the money for development and also in fighting Covid-19.
