Two die after lorry plunges into river in Uasin Gishu.

A lorry driver and his assistant passed on in a lorry accident which occurred in Uasin Gishu county.

According to the reports, the accident happened along Eldoret-Webuye-Highway on the evening. The driver plunged into River Kipkaren when he lost control.

Police commander of Lugari, Bernard Ndungu, reported that the lorry was transporting sugar to a factory [Busibwabo Sugar mill found in Busia county] when the accident happined.

The two have been rushed into the mortuary.
