Wajackoyah: We will implement snake farming to generate more revenue.
Roots party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah now says snake farming will also be his strategy to increase government revenue and clear balloon debt.
Wajackoyah, who sparked an uproar immediately over his promise to legalize marijuana, said snake farming is a lucrative business that his government will consider if elected in the August 9 election.
He revealed that the venom of snakes that can be released from domesticated snakes has a great value that can boost the country’s economy along with growing weeds.

“We are establishing snake husbandry in the country so that we can extract snake venom for medical purposes. Many people are bitten by snakes in this country and have to wait for doses from abroad due to drug cooperation,” Wajoyaoyah said. he said in an interview with Citizen TV on Wednesday evening.
After the venom of the snake was released, Wajoyaoyah said the snake would be exported as food to countries that eat the reptiles.
This, he said, will generate revenue that could cover the country’s huge debt.
“We have as many snake eaters as the Chinese. One of the ways we can erase the Chinese debt is to remove the venom from the snakes, then give the Chinese meat to eat and tell them to get rid of the debt.”
The presidential candidate is one of four candidates for the IEBC by-election in the August 9 election.
