Wangui Ngirici joins Moses Kuria’s CCK party after ditching UDA

Gatundu Sud MP Moses Kuria on Saturday, January 8, in a shocking turn of events, revealed women’s representatives Sabina Chege (Murang’a), Purity Ngirici (Kirinyaga) and former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau as members of his Labor Party ( CCK). .

The MP, who is undergoing medical treatment in Dubai, has received mixed reactions from internet users after posting posters of the above-mentioned politicians on his social media pages.

The posters, which bore the logo and color of the CCK, made many speculate that politicians had joined the Kuria registered party following his removal from the People’s Empowerment Party (PEP) in July 2021.

Ngirici, who was nominated for the Jubilee Party list, withdrew from the party and crossed the country by Vice President William Ruto, until December last year when he resigned from the Democratic Alliance United (UDA).

Speaking to his supporters in Mwea sub-county on Thursday, December 30, Ngirici revealed that he had resigned from UDA after being summoned to headquarters where he had to set aside his goal of finding the incumbent governor. Anne Waiguru.

“I was called to Nairobi and told to run for parliament in the Mwea constituency and give him the seat, but I refused,” he said.

He told his supporters that the UDA party ticket was sold to the biggest bidder and revealed that he would run as a private candidate.

“If you vote don’t worry about the party, find my name and picture, it will be my party.

“When you hear numbers like Ksh 200 million being transported to headquarters and party owners tell you to stop, you know the ticket is gone,” he added.
