Businessman Jimi Wanjigi, Senator Gideon Moi, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka were seen leaving the conference room.

It is reported they changed their minds at the last minute following reports that Deputy President William Ruto was there.

Ruto’s allies also appeared at a conference of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi in Bomas, signaling a possible partnership with the UDA.

Among those present were Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, Nelson Havi of LSK, MP Kimilili Didmus Barasa, among others.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who was in the hall, also shook in a mysterious manner.

Last week, the ANC denied reports that it had invited Ruto to launch the Mudavadi presidential race.
