Wife to late TB Joshua to take over the church.
The widow of Rev. Temitope Balogun Joshua, better known as TB Joshua, has officially taken over his main church in Lagos.
Ms. Evelyn Joshua will now head the Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), founded by her late husband, after the Federal Supreme Court of Nigeria approved her appointment as administrator.

According to a statement issued by the church yesterday, High Court Judge Tijjani Ringim handed down the verdict to Ikoyi.
The decision follows a petition filed by church members after the charismatic pastor and television host died in June. Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online.
“In these circumstances, it has become necessary for an additional trustee to be appointed to fill the vacancy caused by the premature death of the deceased founder,” they said in court documents.
Since the sudden death of the pastor at the age of 58, no successor has been officially elected, although Evelyn was generally expected to take over the leadership of the church.
Without objection from the respondents to the request, the court granted approval, a decision that should further clarify the legacy of leaders in the cathedral.
“One needs to take responsibility immediately and give spiritual direction on the continuity of service. Many spiritual and financial efforts have gone to build SCOAN and it simply cannot be wasted,” said a senior official of The SCOAN.
“None of the pastors were trained to succeed him,” he added.
The church recently issued a statement rejecting rumors that there had been an inheritance dispute between Evelyn and other evangelists.
“Instead of escalating tensions and animosity, she remained focused on preserving the legacy of her late husband … Even when her husband was alive, she was not known to be a very ambitious and domineering woman. even when he had all the power to do so, “the statement said.
“What other proof do we need to know that he is a good leader who can handle people and situations?” he added.
Evelyn, 52, had been married to TB Joshua for 31 years and had three children.
