Will you marry me?: Kakamega artist crazy in love with Martha Karua

When Raila Odinga’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga introduced Martha Karua as his running mate in the White House race, Kenyans reacted to the news differently.

But for a musician from Kakamega County, he went even further and recommended the Narc Kenya party leader in his new song.

‘Will you marry me, Martha Karua?’ was the hook for Okoth Vicky’s last song.

In the lyrics of the song, which has been circulating in some circles on Facebook, Okoth claims to be attracted to the former Gichugu MP and promises to marry her.

Okoth adds that he is very careful to meet him and despite his unsuccessful attempts to reach Karua so far, he is still determined.

“Kama inawezekana naeza tembea kutoka kakamega nikatafute Karua. Nitatafuta fare mpaka nipate,” says the artist.

The 38-year-old musician adds that he is not a member of the family and that if a candidate for the vice presidency accepts his proposal, he would happily marry her.
