Today a woman from Kawangware in Nairobi created stir in Parliament when she started hawking to the lawmakers in attendance. Known as Mama Njugu , Beatrice Wayeko had the members of parliament talking after she asked them to buy her groundnuts. Among the politicians who cheered Mama Njugu was Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja, who went on social media to express his feeling about Wayeko’s husle . ” What a Mother,Mama Njugu[ Beatrice Wayeko] from Kawangware made her submissions to BBI and then gave me njugu. It’s hapo sawa!” he tweeted.
